This year the Art of Sound Music Festival, Shelby Fall Festival, and the Livermush Expo will all be held October 22, 2011.

The Foothills Farmers Market will open at 8am with locally grown produce, plants, cut flowers and baked goods. The Agriculture Extension Office visits each vendor to verify that “we grow what we sell.” This market will give any guest a true taste of Cleveland County.

Dress up the kids and your pet and join us in Uptown Shelby for our annual Fall Festival. The festival will start at 10:00 am with lots of great activities for kids and pets. Children can paint a pumpkin, play on the inflatable obstacle course, or participate in one of the other free fun crafts or activities.  While the kids are having fun, one of our newest uptown businesses, Roll Over, has expanded the pet portion of the festival to include amazing activities for pets. This year our Pet Parade around the courtsquare will begin at 10:30am so the children can watch and prepare for the grand finale Kid’s Parade at 12pm.  You won’t want to miss these events so don’t forget your camera. www.uptownshelby.org

The Liver Mush Expo will begin at 10am. Taste Shelby's famed Liver Mush!. Mack's Liver Mush will be selling their famous liver mush sandwiches along with other food vendors. Cooking demonstrations and taste testing. Arts & Crafts vendors will line the streets along with the Foothills Farmers Market. See the crowning of the first Miss Liver Mush for the inaugural pageant begining at 9am. Join the Art of Sound Music Festival and party all night! Media sponsor Cleveland Headline News & WADA Radio. Located on Uptown Shelby Court Square, Washington Street, Shelby, www.TourClevelandCounty.com or call 704-482-7882.

Come join us for a day full of activities.
