Wristbands will be available online and at the Arts Council, 111 S. Washington Street.

Tickets can also be purchased over the phone with a Visa, Mastercard, Discover by calling the Cleveland County Arts Council at 704-484-2787 or by check made out to CCAC and mailed to
111 S. Washinton St, Shelby, NC 28150. Be sure to include your address and phone number.

This year the Art of Sound Music Festival, Shelby Fall Festival, and the Livermush Expo will all be held October 24, 2009.

The Foothills Farmers Market will open at 8am with locally grown produce, plants, cut flowers and baked goods. The Agriculture Extension Office visits each vendor to verify that “we grow what we sell.” This market will give any guest a true taste of Cleveland County.

The Shelby Fall Festival will begin at 10am with a costume parade for humans but dogs are invited to participate. Other activities include games, crafts and more.

The Livermush Expo will open at 10am and feature the famous Mack’s Livermush sandwiches along with samples from area restaurants. Vote for your favorite livermush dish. Other vendors will be selling ice cream, hot dogs and more. Nothing goes better with livermush than Cheerwine or SunDrop which will be sold at the festival. A professional food paring expert will be on hand to teach the proper way to savor livermush and Cheerwine. The evening will conclude with a “Husband Calling Contest” by WADA Radio.
