Monetary awards are presented to best film and best student film in each category in each of the four categories listed above. We also give monetary awards in the Best of Festival and Audience Choice categories.

2. Send your entry to us on DVD.
3. Include a completed Entry Form
4. Include all promotional material for your film (such as credits, film stills, synopsis, etc.)

*Original formats can be shot on 8mm, 16mm, 35mm, all formats of video as well as all formats digital and computer multimedia. HOWEVER, all entries MUST be on DVD! DO NOT SEND THE ORIGINAL FORMAT. DVD/Blueray's are for judging AND screening (if selected). You will be contacted via email, witoutabox, and letter regarding the outcome of the judging.
* Film-makers outside of the United States need to send their discs/tapes in the proper dubbing format/speed to accommodate DVD players in the United States.

The filmmaker will assume all shipping cost, including customs. If you want your video returned - please include postage and envelope. Include insurance cost for package if wanted. Real to Reel will not be held responsible for any damages that might occur during return mailing process
*Students please include a copy of your valid student ID with your entry form.

The management of R2R International Film Festival reserves the right to decide all questions regarding rules and regulations. Submission of a film constitutes that the filmmaker accepts the rules and regulations set forth herein.
*Sorry, we do not waive entry fees. We encourage you to submit by the early deadline, which is at a discounted rate. As a nonprofit organization, we depend on the entry fees to pay for administering our festival and awarding cash prizes.
*Submitting filmmakers must acknowledge that they have acquired any and all necessary rights to the content of the submitted film, including rights to copyrighted music, images and talent release. They agree that the Real to Reel International Film Festival will not be held responsible for any copyright infringement by their film, unintentional or otherwise. |
