Enjoy a guided tour through the pottery exhibition, Thursday, February 16, 12:00 – 1:00 pm. Bring your lunch and learn about the various techniques, firing process, and types of clay this year’s potters used to create their work. Special tours can be arranged for large groups.

This promises to be the best exhibit yet with the works of 30 local and regional artists, many *NEW this year! The works on exhibit include sculpture and pottery in a wide variety of styles. It is a must see show!

“Bowling for Dollars”
February 23rd, 2012;

Mark your calendars and join us for lunch as you enjoy a bowl of delicious homemade soup in a beautiful handmade pottery bowl donated by
local potters. You get to keep the bowl when you pay for the soup. Bread, beverage and dessert are included. All proceeds go towards the Arts in Education Program. Tickets must be purchased in advance. This is a sold out event every year so call now to purchase your tickets.

Canvases are in, come by and pick them up!
March 21 – All completed 5x7” artwork due to CCAC
March 29 – Mystery Art Opening Reception and Sale at the Arts Council, 5:30 – 7:30 pm
April 12 – Mystery Art Show Closes

This is your chance to purchase “mini-masterpieces” by local artists.  The catch is, you won’t know who created the work until after you purchase it.  Join us for one of our annual favorite events, a who-done-it of miniature proportions. New this year – a gambler’s sale!  The price goes down during the exhibit but if you wait too long the piece you want might get gone!

The Opening reception will feature harpist Carmen Coles!

Student Art Competition”

annual competition which awards cash prizes to the best and the
brightest young artists of tomorrow.
